                                   Atharintiki Daaredi is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Despite the leaks and bandhs in the state, the film still managed to take a thumping opening at the box office. Pawan Kalyan's star power and Trivikram's credibility along with successful music album helped the movie to take off to a wonderful start.

Story


                     Gautam Nanda (Pawan Kalyan) is the only heir for 1 lakh crore worth property in Milan, Italy. 

                                            Ragunandan (Boman Irani) is a multi-billionaire in Milan,Italy. Gowtam Nanda (Pawan Kalyan) is his grandson and the heir of the property. Raghunandan disowns his daughter Sunanda (Nadia) when she marries a guy of her choice. Raghunandan and Sunanda have no communication for decades.  His grandfather Raghunandan asks Gowtam to unite him with his daughter , who left him twenty five years ago. Gowtam goes to India and enters into his aunt's house as a driver. The rest of the story is all about how Gowtam convinces his aunt and fulfils the wish of his grandfather.

Performances


                                            Pawan Kalyan is suave and stylish in this movie. He is at his handsome best in this movie and looked young in many frames. He underplayed his part well according to the requirements of the character. His teasing scenes with Samantha and comedic episodes with Ali and Brahmanandam are a treat to watch. His performance in the climax sequence is too good. Easily one of Pawan's finest performances. Samantha is cute as usual and her golden leg image continues. She didn't get much footage in the first hour but has a nice role in the second hour. Praneetha is beautiful and she did her part well. Boman Irani is apt and Nadhiya is excellent in her role. Brahmanandam brings the house down in the second half. Ali is good. Nadiya is dignified in a key role and her performance becomes an essential to make this story work. Rao Ramesh is excellent as a father and he is growing big as an actor from film to film.


Technical Departments

                                                It’s a simple story of a guy who wants to unite two families. What makes this simple story work is the setting up of backdrops and treatment given by Trivikram. Trivikram has a finest class taste. He has implemented all his worldly knowledge and taste into creating characters and writing dialogues. He has also made sure that there is loads of entertainment and right sentiment in key scenes. The dialogue writer helps him in getting the mood of scene across to the audiences with humor dialogues and sugar-coated message-oriented dialogues. Trivikram has exploited the strengths of Pawan Kalyan to maximum extent to entertain us. There are over 5-6 key sentiment (family oriented scenes) that bind the entire story. He filled the rest of the story with pure entertainment. Though we laugh with crowds in entertainment scenes, it’s the family oriented scenes that stays with you when you come out of the theater.

                                                 Music by Devi Sri Prasad is good. Background score is impressive. Dialogues by ‘maatala mantrikudu’ Trivikram form the heart of the movie. The right dialogues touch your heart at the right moment. ‘ekkada neggalo kaadu ekkada taggalo telisinodu goppodu’ dialogue during climax stands as a testament. Bapu gari Bommo and Kirrakku takes the cake. Cinematography is top notch. Editing is alright. The film drags a bit here and there and that should have been trimmed down. 

Analysis

                                              First half of the film is superb and second half is equally good. It is a simple story where the Hero tries to unite his divided family. Trivikram made this film a complete package by using Pawan Kalyan's star power. When a superstar like Pawan Kalyan plays the lead role in a family entertainer, only sky is the limit if you get it right. Trivikram excelled in doing so. He made sure that the film has every element that pleases the huge fan base of Pawan Kalyan and also used his special skills as an actor.Pawan Kalyan redefines the entertainment value with his performance in Atharintiki Daaredi. Trivikram entertains classes as well as masses equally.


                                               Although the film has sentiment backdrop, Trivikram never lets it go in to emotional mode. Climax scene is a testament for Trivikram's ability as writer and director. This film will be lapped up by families and they will watch it repeatedly. Except for the audience who crave for mass masala, Attarintiki Daredi will entertain everybody. Films like these are very rare to come and don't miss the opportunity to watch it on big screen.
